The American Labor Museum displays a red, leather-bound Book of Remembrance in its library for all to see. The book lists permanent entries acknowledging that a memorial contribution has been made in honor of a friend, family member, colleague or loved one. Names of the person honored, the donor (unless otherwise requested), and date of the contribution are listed on gilded parchment paper pages and covered with acid-free protective sheets to preserve the record.
When a memorial contribution is received, a beautifully embossed Museum card is sent to the family of the deceased. An acknowledgement card is sent to the donor for tax purposes.
The museum is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation. All contributions are tax deductable.
To record a name in the Book of Remembrance, please call the Museum at (973) 595-7953 with your credit card information or send a check or money order (in USD) to The American Labor Museum, 83 Norwood St., Haledon, NJ 07508.
