Ethnicity, Race and Class in Working America
Objective: To demonstrate how teachers may intergrate labor and immigrant studies by providing students with an understanding and appreciation of the contributions of historical and contemporary individuals in the labor movement, with special attention to New Jersey.
Presenters Include:
Howard Green, historian, author & former president of the Oral History Assn
Evelyn M. Hershey, Education Director of the Museum
Les Leopold, author of  "The Man Who Hated Work and Loved Labor: The Life                and Times of Toney Mazzocchi (2007)"
Jeffrey B. Perry: scholar and author of "Hubert Henry Harrison: The Voice of                   Radicalism, 1883-1918 (2008)"
Angelica M. Santomauro, Ed.D.: Labor Educator and Director of the Museum

Workshop attendees will receive a Professional Development Certificate.
